Theoretical and practical aspects of electron, optical, and atomic force microscopy including energy dispersive analysis and digital image acquisition and processing.
Prerequisites: BIOL 302 or MSCI 311 or consent of instructor
Note: Two lecture and one laboratory hour per week, plus a research project to be arranged.
